Postdocs: Apply for a PALM Network grant
By Dawn Hayward | Nov. 11, 2016
The Promoting Active Learning and Mentoring (PALM) Network Grant, sponsored by the American Society of Cell Biology and funded by the National Science Foundation, prepares fellows to become effective teachers and mentors to the next generation of scientists.
The grant funds postdoctoral fellows with an established mentor to create curricula and modules for students at the undergraduate biology level.
Fellows receive up to $2,000, and mentors up to $500 — with a travel award of $1,000 for the fellow and mentor. The award grants nine months of work for each fellow.
Applications are due in January and July.
The ASBMB is a proud PALM partner.
