Apply now for Stanford’s postdoc recruitment weekend
Applications are now being accepted for Stanford PRISM (Postdoctoral Recruitment Initiative in the School of Medicine). In late March, the PRISM program will host select late-stage graduate students from diverse backgrounds who are planning their postdoctoral training.
PRISM provides students who might not currently be considering a postdoctoral position at Stanford with a first-hand look at our training environment. Travel and hotel will be covered by the School of Medicine. Current postdoctoral scholars will host prospective postdocs as they tour the campus, meet with faculty, and learn about what it’s like to be a postdoc at Stanford. Our goal is to match excellent trainees to excellent mentors at the School of Medicine.
This opportunity is open to all, though we encourage those from underrepresented backgrounds, including but not limited to African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders, or those with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds, to apply.
Applications consist of an application form, a CV, a research statement, a recommendation from your graduate adviser, and the names of two or three potential mentors within the School of Medicine.
Application deadline: Jan. 21, 2017
PRISM program: March 23–25, 2017
