2017 NIH Regional Seminars

The National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research will be offering two NIH Regional Seminars on program funding and grants administration in 2017. These two-day seminars, with optional workshop days, will take place in New Orleans (May 3–5) and Baltimore (Oct. 25–27).

The program is geared toward new investigators and extramural research administrators wanting to learn more about the NIH grants application and award processes.

These seminars offer a unique opportunity for attendees to interact with more than 60 NIH and Health and Human Services program, review, grants and policy officials eager to share their expertise and answer questions.

There are more than 45 different topics to choose from over the course of the two-day seminar, plus more in-depth opportunities during the optional pre-seminar workshop day on topics such as electronic research administration, human subjects research protections, intellectual property, and even an administrator’s boot camp.

To find out more, check out the specific location links above or the NIH Regional Seminars homepage, which includes Listserv information.

Save by registering early for the New Orleans seminar through March 3. Plus, take advantage of a special hotel room rate and a trainee discount!

Registration for the Baltimore seminar will open later this spring.
