The next Corsica Membrane Course will be held from June 12–21, 2017, at the Institut d’Etudes Scientifiques in Cargèse in France. This year’s course is on “Molecular Architecture, Dynamics and Function of Biomembranes” and is jointly hosted by the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS).

The course is a part of the EMBO & FEBS Lecture Courses, which focus on career development by providing senior graduate students and postdoctoral fellows the opportunity to interact with and learn from experts in their fields.

This year’s course features lectures, tutorials, workshops and poster sessions on topics in membrane biochemistry including lipid metabolism, membrane-protein synthesis, transmembrane transport and more. Course participation is open to Ph.D. candidates, preferably senior students, and post-doctoral fellows.

More information about the course, including registration and travel awards.
