Call for Papers: DTRA Chem/Bio Defense S&T Conference

The U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking abstract submissions for the 2017 Chemical and Biological Defense Science & Technology  Conference Call for Papers. The conference will be held in Long Beach, Calif., Nov. 28–30, 2017.

Scientists and researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration to present their innovative ideas for the next generation of defense science and technology. We are looking for researchers to share today’s chem/bio defense advances to develop tomorrow’s warfighter capabilities.

Presentations must focus on basic and applied research conducted in specific chemical and biological defense areas, which are listed on the conference website. The conference is particularly interested in innovations and developments yet to be introduced to the defense community.

Those interested can visit the CBD S&T Conference website for submission instructions and topics. Selected presenters will share their research with more than 1,500 scientists, researchers, program managers and leaders from the chem/bio defense arena.
