Submit your science-based masterpiece to FASEB’s BioArt Competition by Aug. 31

FASEB’s BioArt competition celebrates the hard work and time that scientists devote to producing images and videos that support their research. Submit your masterpiece by Aug. 31.

Mediums for last year’s winning works of art include a scanning electron microscopy image, a large agar plate, and a video captured with a small, head-mounted mini-microscope. Check out these pieces and more for inspiration.

There are three image categories and one video category to which scientists can submit. As stated on the BioArt competition webpage, “Entries are welcome from individuals and research teams that either receive U.S. federal funding or include at least one member of a FASEB society. Submissions must be original creations from a research project.”

Good luck, and contact with questions.
