Oct. 22 deadline for applications for Stanford postdoc recruitment weekend
Applications are being accepted for Stanford PRISM (Postdoctoral Recruitment Initiative in Sciences and Medicine). In late February, the PRISM program will host select late-stage graduate students from diverse backgrounds who are planning their postdoctoral training. The purpose of this weekend is to provide students who might not currently be considering a postdoctoral position at Stanford with a first-hand look at our training environment.
Travel and hotel will be covered by the university. Current postdoctoral scholars will act as hosts as prospective postdocs tour the campus, meet with faculty, and learn about what it’s like to be a postdoc at Stanford. The goal is to match trainees to mentors at Stanford.
Applications consist of an application form, a CV, a research statement, a recommendation from your graduate adviser, and the names of up to six potential mentors at Stanford.
Application deadline: Oct. 22, 2018
PRISM program: Feb. 20–23, 2019
