Applications for NIH leadership conference due this week
You have only a few days left to submit your application for the National Institutes of Health’s Future Research Leaders Conference, a two-day career-development event in May for young biomedical and behavioral researchers from underrepresented backgrounds.
Postdocs and early-career faculty of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply to attend the conference, which offers tours of NIH research facilities, networking events with agency leaders and intramural investigators, lectures and poster presentations by attendees.
Here’s a short video about the conference:
To apply, you’ll need to submit you curriculum vitae, a personal statement and a professional reference by March 15. Selection decisions will be announced in April. The conference will be held May 20–21 at the NIH campus in Bethesda, Md.
Here’s a PDF with biosketches of the 2017 participants.
