JBC to sponsor plenary session at American Society for Virology annual meeting

The ASBMB’s Journal of Biological Chemistry is a proud sponsor of a plenary session on innate immune responses at the forthcoming American Society for Virology annual meeting at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis from July 20–24.

The ASV meeting will feature symposia covering topics from all corners of the virology world and will offer a variety of career-development opportunities in the form of workshops and discussion tables. Register by July 18 before registration fees increase!

Akiko Iwasaki at Yale University will deliver this meeting’s keynote talk, titled “Dissecting the role of endogenous retroviruses in health and disease.”

The speakers list includes JBC editorial board members Reuben Harris of the University of Minnesota and Roberto Cattaneo of Mayo Clinic, who will give their talks in the satellite symposia session titled “DNA and RNA editing in virus evolution.”
