The Aspire Alliance is seeking to fund teams of two- and four-year institutions that want to work together to diversify and better prepare STEM faculty at two-year colleges. The deadline for applications is Aug. 16.

Institut Pasteur is offering a free online course on epigenetics that will begin July 8. Register now! The massive online open course, which will be presented in English, has been organized by Germano Cecere, who leads the Mechanisms of Epigenetic Inheritance lab at Institut Pasteur in Paris. The course takes about 2.5 hours per week.
The joint meeting of the European Biophysical Societies’ Association and the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics will be held July 20–24 in Madrid. Several ASBMB members are going to be leading sessions and giving talks.
