Deadlines extended for ASBMB proteases meeting
Updated 6/12/19: If you’re interested in giving a talk at our special symposium Serine Proteases in Pericellular Proteolysis and Signaling in September in Potomac, Md., you must submit your abstract by July 28.
There’s more time for those of you hoping to present posters. That deadline for those abstract is Aug. 15.
We were very pleased to see two ASBMB award winners on the speakers list for this meeting.
The keynote speaker, Jim Wells of the University of California, San Francisco, is a past ASBMB–Merck award winner. JoAnn Trejo of the University of California, San Diego, is a past winner of the ASBMB’s Ruth Kirschstein Diversity in Science Award.
We also noticed that Charles Craik of UCSF is on the lineup. We point this out because ASBMB Today recently published a Q&A with Craik about patenting antibodies.
The venue for the event is the Bolger Center in Potomac, Md.
The final day to register to attend is Aug. 7.
